“Arthurs Plot Summer” Acrylic, box canvas size 12 × 12 inches

Arthurs Plot Summer is painted on a box canvas and one of a project of about ten paintings, all same size but with different seasons and different views. Arthurs plot was a gardeners nightmare up at City Road Allotments in Dundee City of Discovery, with ramshackle sheds, broken gates, fences and littered with pots, boxes, pallets, wooden planks, water barrels, wheelbarrows and weeds in full flower.

However it was an artists dream with interesting compositions in summer and winter.
