Dundee artist John Stoa has always had the artist eye that finds beauty everywhere from landscapes, buildings, flowers, people, skies, winter landscape snow scenes and still life all needing to get captured on canvas
Landscape paintings of the Scottish Highlands, Scottish lochs, Castles, Scottish villages and towns, Isle of Skye, my favourite island, allotment paintings, and some watercolour paintings from Australia.
John’s home town of Dundee, the City of Discovery has also provided numerous places of interest to capture on canvas. Most paintings are in acrylic with some oil paintings and a few in watercolour and pastel. The larger paintings are perfect great impact as urban inspired wall art, and several may be combined as diptych or even three together as a triptych wall art. Village of Rait was perfect for putting three canvases together to create one large painting.
John paints contemporary Scottish landscape art as winter landscape paintings, snow scene paintings as well as summer landscapes paintings for sale.
Several have now been published as limited edition prints.
John is happy for visitors to contact him to view his Scottish paintings and prints in his Original Art Studio in Dundee.
