“Forfar Loch Reedbeds” acrylic on a stretched box canvas size 20 × 14 inches

Forfar Loch Reedbeds is one of several studies John Stoa has made around this loch, and all on box canvas, which does not need a frame. The loch is a favourite for local visitors either walking or running around the loch as it has footpaths all around with plenty great views. This painting was enhanced as trees and bushes and reeds took on their autumn colour.
