John has always had the artist eye that finds beauty everywhere from landscapes, buildings, flowers, people and still life and needs to get captured on canvas

Landscape paintings of the Scottish Highlands, Scottish lochs, Castles, Scottish villages and towns, Isle of Skye, my favourite island, and some watercolour paintings from Australia. Most paintings are in acrylic with some oil paintings and a few in watercolour and pastel. Some of the larger paintings are perfect great impact as wall art, and several may be combined as diptych or even three together as a triptych wall art.

John paints contemporary Scottish landscape images as winter landscape paintings as well as summer landscapes.
Several have now been published as limited edition prints.

This loch sits at the edge of Portree, the capitol of Isle of Skye, with views into the distance of both the Black Cuillins and the Red Cuillins. A very romantic place with beautiful views of our Scottish lochs and mountains. Very popular with summer visitors and also other regular tourists all year round. Isle of Skye is heaven for an artist with so much beautiful views and places to paint.
