John just loves to find ideas for summer landscape paintings as well as snow scene winter landscape paintings on his travels around Scotland’s towns, including his home town of Dundee, the City of Discovery, and the sandy beach at Broughty Ferry, as well as Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth, villages, castles, glens, rivers, mountains, islands and the Scottish lochs.

“City Centre in Winter” an 800 limited edition print size 20 x 12 inches
City Centre in Winter was painted to mark the Octocentenary year 1991 of Dundee. It shows a busy middle of town from Overgate entrance to bottom of Reform Street on High Street, opposite City Square. Council had a large flower bed outside Overgate at that time.
