“Alhambra Palace” Pastel, 19 × 15 inches

Alhambra Palace in Spain was discovered while on my summer holiday site seeing trips. Alhambra Palace sits in an elevated position in the Spanish town of Granada with the Sierra Nevada mountains behind. This palace is one of Spain’s most visited tourist attractions. The pillars and building lit up in the mid day sun as reflected light bounced around walls, floors, ceiling and pillars, creating a very romantic picture. I just could not resist taking a few photos for a painting completed in pastels. Alhambra Palace pastel painting is perfect for collectors of paintings showing summer holidays.
