Picture of Fruit is a still life study of a range of fruit painted in acrylic. The fruit is illuminated from above so allowing strong shadows around the base of the fruit group, and reflected light adds extra colour on fruits. The base on which the fruit sits and space above them is kept dark to allow a strong tonal contrast.
