Loch Achtriochtan in Glencoe is another favourite location for a great Scottish highland painting. It has featured in numerous artists paintings, nearly as popular as Blackrock Cottage, a few miles away.I was fortune enough to find an excellent conifer at this spot for my focal point, as well as a well broken down wall. The pristine snow covering the Glencoe landscape added to the charm and winter atmosphere.
