Although I paint in all mediums, looking back over the years I have started one medium then stayed with it for a few years before moving onto another medium.
I have posted a few paintings here when I was in my watercolour phase over several years.
With watercolour it is essential to work from light to dark, whereas in acrylic it is the opposite working dark to light.

Allotment life has plenty of great ideas for a painting, with broken sheds, fences and gates, barrels, wheelbarrows, and fruit and vegetable crops and plenty flowers. Best not forget our gardeners digging, planting, weeding or just relaxing with a cup of tea and in excellent conversation with fellow plot holders, solving the worlds problems.
